Beyoncé - The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour, Birmingham LG Arena | Gig Review

Whether you are a fan or not. Whether you love her or hate her. No-one can deny that during her almost 20-year career, Beyoncé is notoriously known for being one of the best performers of our generation.
That's why whenever the pop-phenomenon comes to town, it's no shock that the tickets for her shows sell out in less than 10 minutes. And after being front row at the Mrs Carter Show, there is no surprise why.

Beyoncé, her band, and all her talented dancers put on an unforgettable show that snatched the wig of every other female singer that does what she does. Kicking things off with the energetic and (aptly named) 'Run The World' Mrs. Carter already had won over her non fans (if any) in the sold out arena and had everyone dancing and singing the lyrics back to her.

What sets Beyoncé out from the likes of Rihanna, Katy Perry etc, is that she makes it look ***Flawless. Which was the next song that got the crowd pumped, followed by the twerktastic 'Yoncé' which saw Yoncé herself show everyone; This is how it's done! -Miley Cyrus take notes.

Throughout the 90 minutes concert Beyoncé would regularly check on the crowd and ask "Birming-ham how ya'll feelin' tonight?" every now and then after performing some of her biggest hits such as Naughty Girl, Single Ladies, Crazy In Love and Drunk In Love.

A shock of the night was the fact Beyoncé made the boring XO from her latest album 'BEYONCÉ' one of the most enjoyable moments of the nights, the crowd who obviously agreed didn't hesitate to sign out 'XO' with their arms.
But the highlight? Definitely the amazing performance of 'Why Don't You Love Me?' It was fun, funky, fierce and flaming hot! This was the performance that showcased that Queen B has it all when it comes to performing, her vocals were perfect, her presence on stage, dancing, everything.

During the show Beyoncé said that she wanted to make sure that the show was an unforgettable one for everyone who came out to watch it (or luckily enough to bag themselves tickets) and without a doubt, judging by the tears and look of elation of fans while leaving the arena. That mission was well and truly accomplished.
