Deal of the Month:
Having only come out a few months back, the
price of this is outstanding. Considering the amount of content you get in the
game, with all the missions and side quests to complete, it’d definitely be
worth it. With better multiplayer than
the previous games, there’s even more to keep you occupied. You also get to be
a pirate, which no-one can turn their nose up at.
Splurge of the Month:
Last of Us (£35)/ Last of Us: Left Behind
(£12)/ Season Pass (£15)
With a gripping story and innovative
gameplay, this game has the whole package. It also has the accolade of being
known worldwide as the best PS3 game. So if you do want to spend a bit extra, consider treating yourself to the DLC that came out last week. Or
even the season pass, which gets you any future DLC released! With the extra
meat to the story the DLC gives and with more DLC to come, there’s more to this
game than meets the eye.
Bargain Bin:
Batman: Arkham Origins (£18)
The Batman Arkham franchise has been
incredibly successful, because you get to be Batman. But with Origins, a
different gaming company took the reins, which brought in a sea of glitches and
problems with the game. It lacks the same charm as the previous games and an
interesting storyline. With no fixes to the bugs coming any time soon, with the
company favouring DLC, wait until its cheaper. A lot cheaper.
