Fergie - L.A. Love | Single Review

No we haven’t time travelled back to 2006, it’s just Fergie aka Fergie- Ferg aka Fergalicious has released her first solo single in over six years. And yes you might’ve guessed it, she’s rapping again.

L.A. Love” produced by DJ. Mustard (the beat maker behind 2 Chainz’ “I’m Different” and Kid Ink’s “Show Me”) supplies a stellar beat for Fergie’s comeback song. The only thing that lets the song down is Fergie herself.

Although the song starts off reasonable with a sexy hook, reminiscent of the 39-year-old singers hit song "Glamorous". There is nothing validating or satisfying with the “L.A. Love” chorus which is essentially Fergie reciting various different countries and cities while repeating ‘la la la la la’.

As the 1st single from her upcoming album set to be released later this year, "L.A. Love" is a less than average way to end a lengthy hiatus.

Overview: L.A. Love sounds like it could be the less popular, more annoying sister of Iggy Azalea’s "Fancy”. Listen to the song below and let us know what you think!
