Well, V was announced last night, with some predictable acts
and some surprises. Here’s a summation of whats a’happening.
JT is definitely the best headliner. The Killers was a very
predictable choice having being there only 2 years ago. With JT’s outstanding
comeback last year, he is surely going to be one of the biggest festival
headliners around this year.
It seemed to be the year of comebacks last year with former
retiree Lily Allen coming to V this year. With a couple of hits recently and plenty of older hits stashed under her belt, she’s
gonna be one popular act this year.
Blondie’s doing the festival circuit this year, and they’ll
certainly put on a good show. They're just one of those bands with such a vast back catalog, they'll never struggle to put a good set on.
Having appeared in Rudimental’s hit single last year
‘Waiting All Night’, Ella Eyre is set for a great year in 2014. Her solo work is just
as good as her appearance with Rudimental, so don’t miss out. (And don't be surprised if they perform together either since Rudimental are at V too!)
Rizzle Kicks are just kind of… around. With annoyingly catchy
pop songs, not much to show from the past year and annoying personalities to
match, stay well clear.
Tickets are on sale Friday 7th March right here.
