Ed Sheeran - One | Single Review

Ed Sheeran has released a new video on his Youtube channel of him performing an exclusive song from his upcoming album "Multiply". The ginger ninja's latest song called "One" is completely stripped back and the performance is just Ed and his guitar. No loop pedal, no band. Pure magic.

"One" is very reminiscent of Ed's older material, such as songs like "Kiss Me" and "Firefly". The lyrics contain Ed's signature theme of love. The location of the video, which is an empty arena, really benefits Sheeran's voice as you can clearly hear the reverberation which adds a spine-tingling depth to the song. His voice just keeps getting better and the standard Ed is setting is astonishingly high. "One" provides a great insight into what to expect for the album, which comes out 23rd June. It is also intriguing to hear the variation of songs such as the pop/rap driven tunes "Sing" and "Take it Back", as well as the heartfelt melodies of "Don't" and "One". It is truly an exciting time to be an Ed Sheeran fan.
