- Your Love Is Mine - I Am They
Even if you're not a fan of country sounding songs this is one hell of a toe-tapping tune. Great harmonies with a chorus that will be circling your head for days, bring on the hoe-down!
2. Groove! - Jack and Jack
If Uptown Funk is sounding a little over played to you, welcome to your new night out jam. It's energetic, soulful and a little tongue-in-cheek. Everything you want when your getting your groove on!
3. Higher Love - Prides
Prides are bringing back synth in a big way. Combined with Stewart's commanding vocals and his wonderful Scottish accent we have a commercial gem just waiting to be discovered.
4. Zoom - Last Dinosaurs
This track may be a little bit older than the rest of my picks but I really think it deserves way more attention then its garnered. The guitar riff alone is so gargantuan it practically pummels you with adrenaline, definitely a band worth the hype.
5. Breaking Through - The Wreckage
Don't worry heavier fans I haven't forgotten about you! This band are a brilliant fusion of old-school grunge with a hard swing of rock thrown into the mix. Gruff with plenty of punch, it's a guaranteed head-banger.
