Rise of Rock

Rock is on the up once again. 2014 is predicted to be a massive year for rock, taking over pop. Here’s a taste of what you have to look forward to this year.

Foo Fighters

Dave Grohl has hinted that the new album is on its way this year. With Grohl being quoted as saying that the new music is nothing like what they’ve done before, I’m sure fans are hoping that an awesome album on its way.

The Black Keys

After the overwhelming success of ‘El Camino’ there’s been a three year wait so far. With the band saying they could make a new album in two weeks, fans are still waiting. Hopefully 2014 is the year we see a follow-up.

Biffy Clyro

With ‘Opposites’ being released last year, they went on to embark on their biggest tour yet.  Biffy are releasing an album of B-sides, which didn’t quite make it onto the album, called ‘Similarities’.  With nothing new being recorded ‘til 2015, this will definitely keep Biffy withdrawal at bay.
