Get to know: Only Time Will Tell

It's always a great moment when you come across a relatively unknown band who possess a lot of talent.

Only Time Will Tell are a Metalcore/Hardcore band based in Derbyshire which consists of five members. It is clear in their sound that they are influenced by Metalcore giants such as Parkway Drive, as well as upcoming acts such as Bury Tomorrow. You're probably thinking what is it that makes Only Time Will Tell stand out from the crowd. For me, it is the fact that they sound refreshing and there is a lot of emotion in their music. Each instrument is well crafted and played to a great standard and they fit together perfectly to create solid and cohesive songs. The sound engineer has also done an incredible job because the music is HEAVY. Just how a good ol' Metal band should be.

The stand-out aspect is the transition between the raw, screaming vocals which have a "pre-2012 Oli Sykes" feel to them, and then the softer, harmonious singing which soothes the intensity of the screaming.

So far they have released two songs; "Living on Borrowed Time" and "Burn My Eyes" and the band have plans to release more throughout the year. I urge you to give Only Time Will Tell a listen as they are an extremely promising act for the future, and with a few more songs and gigs under their belt, they will be more polished and ready to take the Metal world by storm.
