Hottest Movies of 2015 | Preview

In the past few weeks and with 2014 drawing to a close, social media and news sites have been peppered with previews for some amazing films coming to cinemas near you next year. Here's FourPlay's summation of what to look out for next year.

Minions (UK Release 26th July 2015/ US Release 10th July 2015)
Ever wanted to know how the Minions found their way to Gru? Well now you can find out! Follow the mysterious yellow creatures on their journey to find someone evil to serve.

Pitch Perfect 2 (Release Date 15th May 2015)
The sequel to Pitch Perfect is coming, three years after the original. The film which brought that cup song to public view. Featuring Anna Kendrick (Drinking Buddies) and Rebel Wilson (Bridesmaids), the musical movie of Acapella fame is going leaps and bounds to beat the original, and there's gonna be a hell of a lot more music and laughs.

Cinderella (Release Date 13th March 2015)
A live-action version of the classic fairy tale, Helena Bonham Carter stars with newcomers Lily James and Richard Madden (Game of Thrones). Even though she's not Cinderella. Just Ella. So modern.

Avengers: Age of Ultron (UK 24th April/ US 1st May)
The Avengers are back with some fresh faces in Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Kickass) and Elizabeth Olson (Godzilla). And of course the old faithfuls with Captain America and Ironman. Expected to be a more gritty sequel to The Avengers, it's lining up to be the best film of 2015.

Jurassic World (Release date 12th June)
The dinosaurs are returning! (It seems to be a year of sequels?) Chris Pratt (Guardians of the Galaxy) and Bryce Dallas Howard (50/50) star in the fourth instalment of the Jurassic Park franchise. Be prepared for chaos to ensue as, humans and dinosaurs don't really mix in the Jurassic Park franchise. An extended trailer is due out this Friday.

And now, the not so hot.
Fifty Shades of Grey (Release Date Valentines Day 2015)
The reimagining of the 2012 mummy porn book is out very soon. Starring Jamie Dornan (The Fall) as Christian Grey and Dakota Johnson (The Social Network) as Anastasia Steele. It'll either be an absolute cringe-fest, or a not so cringe-fest. Either way, if you're not the targeted audience of deluded Mum, don't watch it. But here's the trailer to give you a taste of what you're missing if you are that desperate.

That's about it for the FourPlay's preview of what's to come in 2015 filmwise. If there's anything you think is missing, don't forget to comment below!
